If you are working locally in a debugger you will need to deploy the existing changes for the worker and ensure it is routed correctly by going to Workers & Pages > Settings > Triggers so that the code is triggered when you query the proper page. You can also check the deployment status by going to Workers & Pages > Deployments to make sure the worker is fully deployed.
